These untreated and durable robinia sanded step poles of diameter 25/35cm are standard sanded and unpointed. Robinia wood is also known as the only European hardwood species and therefore falls into durability class l/ll. This means that the robinia posts have a lifespan of approx. 20 years. This makes this robinia post very suitable as an addition to, for example, playground equipment.

How we deliver these sapwood-free sanded sapwood stakes

With us, the diameter is always measured at the centre, not at the thickest (head) side. Therefore, our poles will often be thicker than others on offer. Thick and thin ends may differ by +/- 2cm. The spin-free sanded robinia posts have a natural appearance. The core of the trunk remains after they have been sanded spin-free. The posts have a gradient and are therefore not the same thickness everywhere along their length.
