Robinia sanded poles stock

Van Biezen Robiniahout keeps large stocks in the spin-free sanded poles. We have these poles in stock in every length and diameter. We supply the robinia sanded poles up to a length of 9m. The thickness can go up to 35-40cm.

Applications for sanded robinia

The robinia sanded posts can be used for various applications. Think of playground equipment, parks, bridges, canopies or obstacle materials. The spin-free nature of the poles makes them child-friendly to use. This is why nowadays almost all wooden playground equipment is made of robinia sanded posts. The unique shape of the posts gives each application a natural look. The posts are also often used in combination with shade cloths.

When installing the sanded robinia posts, we recommend pre-drilling the holes for the nails and screws. The posts are always graded in a variable diameter.

With us, the diameter is always measured at the centre, not at the thickest (head) side. As a result, our posts will often be thicker than others on offer. Thick and thin ends may differ by +/- 2cm, e.g. a pole around 14-16 may be 18cm at the thick end (head size) and 12cm at the thin end. The robinia poles are supplied unpointed as standard.
