Robinia combi partitions

Robinia combi bulkheads are frequently used for shoring. This is because its long durability makes it ideal for this purpose. Robinia falls in durability class l/ll, which means that the bulkheads have a lifespan of approx. 20 years and often even longer.

Robinia clamped bulkheads

Robinia shoring bulkheads come in different types. The most common bulkheads are the combi bulkheads or clamped bulkheads. The combination bulkhead then consists of softwood planks and robinia planks. With the option, the softwood planks are submerged, keeping them in perfect condition. As long as these planks are not on top of the water line, they will not rot away. The planks are then placed on and over the waterline as robinia is virtually unaffected by this. This is because it does not absorb water quickly, but repels it quickly. By combining these 2 wood species, the costs are lower than if you choose hardwood bulkhead.

We therefore also offer the option of Robinia clamped bulkheads. This is a shoring of horizontal planks fastened together by clamps. With great regularity, an earth retaining canvas is placed behind the bulkheads. The robinia combi bulkheads are therefore suitable for canals, ditches, lakes and ponds.
